The theme team just released a brand new responsive-ready child theme for iThemes Builder, Avail. With a clean, modern design, Avail is great for business or corporate websites:
Responsive-Ready
Paired with iThemes Builder 4.0, Avail automatically responds for mobile, tablet and desktop viewing. Check out Avail’s demo site to see it in action.
Sample Layouts
Check out Avail’s sample layouts to see all three alternate widget styles (default, green and white background) and an example of a full-width layout.
Downloads
All Builder Developer Pack, All Access Theme Pass and Toolkit members will find Avail available as a new download in their iThemes Member Panel. Avail is also available stand-alone.

While I like this responsive theme, and some of your other responsive themes, the responsive item that I feel (personally) needs a little bit to be enhanced, is the navigation menu items. Meaning, that once the screen resolution falls down below that of a typical tablet (i.e., mini ipad), I’d like to see your “out of the box” responsive designs to display and switch the navigation menus in a drop down fashion as opposed to just moving the navigation buttons on top of each other. This is one area in which I’d like to see your responsive designs to be enhanced to something that would truly make your responsive designs more appropriate based upon the screen resolution. I’ve seen this done on other sites, in their responsive designs, and would just like to see a similar concept incorporated into the responsive designs of your BUILDER Child Themes. What do you think?
Hi Gary,
That is definitely something that we are talking through.
Although I don’t have an ETA on this particular feature, it is on our list of improvements to be made to how responsive themes work with Builder. Builder 4.0 and adding responsive to the mix is just the beginning — we’re always looking at ways to improve our products.
Thanks!
I suggest allowing people to filter by “Responsive” themes on the Themes page.
Good idea Darrel. I’ve been planning to implement that on the theme sorter, but haven’t gotten around to it yet. I will hopefully add it there soon.
yes I second the Responsive category. Thats all I want to buy right now and there isnt an easy way to do this.
There is a button on the theme sorter that will filter by responsive-only themes. It looks like an iPad with a stretch arrow in the center.
