Love what you do or change it.
Former newspaper journalist and public relations/communications practitioner, turned freelance moonlighting web designer, turned full-time entrepreneur. In January 2008, I founded iThemes in my home, fulfilling a lifelong dream of running my own company. Now we have WebDesign.com and PluginBuddy.com among a whole bunch of other fun projects in between. I am blessed with an amazing team who makes a lot of fun of me. I eat books (great for fiber) and helped write one as well. And I own a 2009 Honda Ruckus called Rex. Life is good.
Do not fear the code.
Benjamin is our Professor at WebDesign.com. He is constantly cranking out high-quality WordPress training for our community over there. When he's not behind the microphone on a webinar, you can find him at the Dunn Loring Fire Department working as a volunteer firefighter.
I write my code the old fashioned way.
One line at a time.
One line at a time.
Chris is the lead developer of Builder. He writes the code so you don't have to. When he's not working on Builder, he's working with Linux, or watching anime.
Livin' the dream.
Matt is a developer and overall nerd. He and his wife, Jessi, live in Edmond with their dog, Dakota. Matt began working at iThemes in May of 2009. You can usually find Matt judging drinking coffee. If you are bringing him a cup, make sure it's black. That frilly crap isn't for him.
Don't anger the badgers.
Dustin is our lead developer at PluginBuddy.com. He's responsible for BackupBuddy, Mobile, most of the DisplayBuddy series, and most of the hijinks in the iThemes office. His free time consists of a lot of random things like watching movies, anime, exploring places outdoors, Team Fortress 2, or working on his house. He enjoys Team Fortress 2 and badgers.
I am left handed.
Bradford designs themes, icons, t-shirts and lots of little things around the site and the office. He likes Wes Anderson movies, button-down collars and post-apocalytpic fiction.
I don't know much, but I'm patient.
Restless, traveler, IT dinosaur (since 1985), husband and father. Currently stuck in the Netherlands with his wife and two kids. He's self employed since 1992, he's since probably spent more time traveling than working. Or working while traveling. Next to being a developer/analyst/project manager & consultant, he enjoys teaching, coaching, training, and transferring information and knowledge. He started using WordPress in 2006, has since learned a bit more and tries to share this with the iThemes community.
Sridhar handles support for Builder. He lives in Bangalore, India with his wife and 2.8-year-old daughter. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida, specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics, but has been attracted to Internet technologies and CMSs starting with Postnuke, Joomla, Drupal and finally choosing WordPress.
Nina East has been a member of our community since she started blogging. Now she is helping us spread the word about iThemes, PluginBuddy and WebDesign.com and making sure our affiliates have the support they need.
I'm awake.
Josh handles all of the support for BackupBuddy. He's learning fast thanks to the learning/teaching environment we have here at iThemes and is now working on his first plugin.
Char helps with sales e-mails and sending out WP Shirts to all you lucky winners.
Smile.
Established in 1983, Justin strives to make life easier for web users. With a keen sense of online connivence, his goal is to make surfing the tallest waves a cinch. Avoiding the sharks (and phishers thereof) remains at the top of his list, and by constantly making an effort to create cohesive designs, he hopes to put an end to the pains of front-end development.
Life-long learner.
Cody is our newest designer, coming from the print industry and Oklahoma's 3rd largest newspaper. He and his wife, Callie, live in the OKC metro area. Cody enjoys creating beautiful websites, hanging out with his wife, playing sports, and traveling.
Zen and the Art of Office Management
Kristen is our office assistant and she openly boasts about owning the only stapler in the office. She greatly enjoys tending a "progressive" office--one without paper files, telephones, or stuffiness. Outside of the office, Kristen (a self-proclaimed Fauvist) paints, sews, and enjoys washing dishes the old-fashioned way. Kristen lives in Oklahoma City with her awesome husband, Jacob, and their two well-balanced dogs, Ranger and Littleman.
Just another nerd.
Fresh out of college, he just completed his BS in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics at the University of Central Oklahoma. He loves coding, reading, cooking, and playing video games. When time allows, he tries to spend time with his niece and nephew at the lake.
PluginBuddy Support
Bes handles the entire PluginBuddy (minus BackupBuddy-Core) support. He lives in California, right next to San Francisco in the East Bay area. You can Google "Bes Zain" to find him blogging, writing, and sharing photos and thoughts since around 1995. Bes is always online after midnight playing games, Netflixing, and wandering through the Twitter and Google+ wastelands. He's also having dinner with Whisper the cat at that time, and trying to keep quiet while everyone in the world sleeps, including Katie in the next room.
Fun Stuff We Do
iThemesTV
We're live every Tuesday on iThemes.TV to talk about new products, what we're working on and most of all to hear from you about what you want and how we can do better. We give stuff away, we give tips, and we're pretty darn entertaining.
Join us Tuesdays at 11am CST.

WP Shirts
We want to promote and spread the use of WordPress as the premiere online software tool for blogs and websites it is, by giving away free shirts that get people asking and talking about all things WordPress. You can win one free here.
Roadtrips
The iThemes team took an RV trip to WordCamp Boulder in July. Nothing like an RV to either bring a team together. Literally. It was much smaller than we expected. Read the blog from the trip.
The Div
The purpose of The Div, Inc., our non-profit foundation, is to foster web innovation and creativity by offering free local training opportunities through weekly and monthly workshops and classes, co-working days to gather the local web community, and hosting web-related user groups.
