BackupBuddy's Complete (Full) Backup backs up all files in the WordPress installation directory (and subdirectories), in addition to the database. This includes files such as media, plugins, themes, images and any other files found.

BackupBuddy Complete (Full) Backups are especially critical when changing hosts. With a BackupBuddy Full Backup, you don’t have to worry about relying on your previous host to help with the move. Many hosts or other tools skip key parts of the migration process (such as migrating serialized data), resulting in a damaged migration.

Recommended Complete (Full) Backup Schedule

BackupBuddy recommends doing Complete Backups every 2-3 weeks, since your files only change when you add or upgrade plugins, themes or your WordPress version.
