BackupBuddy can be uploaded, activated and used just like any other plugin. While BackupBuddy can back up both Single sites and Multisite networks, it can be activated differently (strong recommended!) on a Multisite network.

=Single Site=

By Single Site, we are referring to any WordPress site where Multisite is NOT activated or used in any manner.

===Upload BackupBuddy on Single site===
*You can upload BackupBuddy on any Single (non-Multisite) site just like any other plugin.
**You can use cPanel to upload the plugin to wp-content/plugins directory and then extract it.
**You can extract the BackupBuddy zip file on your computer and then uplaod the BackupBuddy folder via FTP to your wp-content/plugins directory.
