When using ithemes builder Theme on my Wordpress site I am receiving this error:

Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/nightrov/public_html/wp-content/plugins/builder-style-manager/lib/classes/it-core-class.php on line 61

Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/nightrov/public_html/wp-content/plugins/builder-style-manager/lib/classes/it-core-class.php on line 63

Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/nightrov/public_html/wp-content/plugins/builder-style-manager/lib/classes/it-error.php on line 101

If I turn off the builder theme the errors disappear.

What can I do to fix that and what could be causing this error?

The Builder Style Manager plugin is not ready to support Builder 4.0's responsive feature. Please check the support forum and the iThemes Blog for updates.

I'm getting this msg and I'm not sure what to do about it.

1) upgraded WP to make sure I was using the latest edition 2) I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled Style Mgr because I installed Style mgr before I installed a child theme

I continue to get this msg and I'm not sure why
