A great pity that SugarSync is not supported. I'm regretting somewhat purchasing BackupBuddy

Hi Shawn

There are currently no immediate plans to add SugarSync but there have been a number of enquiries and future product features are always under review.

As far as Rackspace vs S3 is concerned, both are equally functional but perhaps S3 might be considered to have the edge if, for example, you are planning to backup multiple sites (your own or on behalf of clients if you provide a backup/recovery service to them) because you can set up multiple identities (such as one identity per site) associated with one S3 account, all with distinct access credentials and profiles, that can help with security (please note these are general S3 features and not things that are specific to BackupBuddy).

I hope this provides the information you need but please let us know if you have any additional questions or clarifications required in this respect, thanks.

Hi, do you guys have any plans to add Sugar Sync as an optional backup destination?

Also, between Rackspace and Amazon S3, would anyone recommend one over the other?

Thanks
