Hi Mark,

You can do that. Though if they encounter problems they will need to go to or through you, as it would be on your account, for support. For the license key you can generate one in the license manager to give to the client which would allow the site to get automatic updates. Though of note, the dev license may not be intended for this precisely; you can choose to do so if you want.

Thanks,

Thank you for the details. I did assume that the dev license might not have been intended for this explicitly, which is definitely why I checked. :-) I appreciate the work all of you do, and I didn't want to violate the spirit of the license.

Thanks again,

Mark

Hi,

A question about the BackupBuddy Developer License:

We are a hosting company, and we'd like to offer BackupBuddy preinstalled on all WordPress hosting packages. Would the Developer License (Unlimited Sites) allow us to do this? I know it's primarily intended for web designers and others to provide the plugin to their clients, so I wanted to make sure that our intended use is acceptable.

If we can do that, how do we install it in such a way that each user doesn't have to enter license codes and such?

Thanks,

Mark
