Hi
Thanks for your interest in BackupBuddy and your specific enquiry.
BackupBuddy supports sending backups offsite to destinations such as Dropbox, Amazon S3, Rackspace and email - and more "generically" to any server supporting FTP but it does _not_ support direct dump/export of a database to a remote database.
A database (and full) backup does contain a dump of the database that can be used independently (of the specific BackupBuddy restore utility) to populate a database so dependent upon your backup procedures you could use that (either manually or automatically through your own toolset) to upload to a remote database as required but implementation and support of such a solution would be solely your responsibility.
I hope that answers your question but please let us know if any additional information or clarifciation is required, thanks.
Regards...jeremy

Hello,
I use a cloud db just for keeping a spare of my db just in case...I finally found this to backup the db easily (as it appears), but my question lies here:
I would like to upload the db back to the company...I asked them and they responded below:
make sure it supports uploading a MySQL dump to a remote database
Does your software do this?
the company I am using is: Xeround...
