Not this is not possible. To use the restore/migrate tool requires that the backup zip archive file contains information encoded into the backup at the time is was taken.
It is however possible to restore a site from a BackupBuddy backup without necessarily using the specific restore/migrate tool although this does require a little more work on the part of the user and is not something that we specifically support so you need the correct technical expertise to be able to do this.

Is it possible to use Backup Buddy to restore a Wordpress site using a backup file (folder) that has not been created using Backup Buddy? If so, is it the same process or is it a lot more complicated?
