Hi Dave,
The 4GB limit on ziparchive is with 32bit servers, so the host can look into upgrading to 64bit.

Your Wiki states that BackupBuddy always uses a ZIP archive, which has a maximum size of 4 GB. What happens if a WordPress installation is bigger than 4 GB (e.g., lots of media files)?
