So sorry for the slow response!
Our free themes actually do not have the "My Theme" section. That is only in our premium themes.
And our tutorials are based off of our premium themes, so they will all feature the "My Theme" area.

Hello, I'm trying out a couple of free versions of your blog themes to get comfortable before I purchase one for our organization. I tried a number of them and liked the layout of the political blue or political orange theme for it's basic layout.
After installing the theme, I see everything as shown in the demo, but I never get the mytheme section in the admin control panel. I'm not sure what is causing it. I've uninstalled wordpress and reinstalled it but I still do not get that mytheme section to show up.
I'm not comfortable buying a theme until I can figure out why this section is not showing up. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this? I've watched the tutorial videos and they make reference to this component but it's just not there for me.
