Hi Ricky
Please be a bit more specific about "There are a couple of databases involved" - a standard WordPress site is one set of tables (identified by the table prefix in the wp-config.php file) in one database. If you are not talking about a standard WordPress site but also have additional functionality that uses an additional database about which we have no information or knowledge concerning the use of the database then we cannot answer this enquiry for you in the concrete terms that you expect but you can use the information as indicated above to make your own decision (and ask additional questions as suggested).
I can tell you that BackupBuddy does _not_ migrate _multiple_ databases but previously Customers have used it to migrate sites that did have additional functionality integrated which was associated with additional database(s) but such functionality and databases had to be migrated using the tools/methods associated with those add-on 3rd party products.
If you expect us to be specific then you to must be much more specific in defining your requirement :-) Thanks.
Regards...jeremy

Hey Ricky,
Thanks for considering BackupBuddy! I don't see an issue here. You have the ability to migrate to any URL you'd like. You can then redirect any of your other URLs as you describe. Below is a link to our BackupBuddy host compatibility page, and the rest of our codex. Please look through it and let us know if you have any other questions.

I'm considering BackupBuddy because it advertises that it is great for moving or transferring websites.
We have a shared hosting account on a large hosting service. That account develops websites, and when one takes off, we create a new account for the successful site. This time we have a few new twists to the move and need to know the true answers before we purchase BB.
The site we are moving is a WordPress site. It is currently a subdomain on our main hosting account. There are a couple of databases involved with the site along with about 17 plugins and widgets.
When we make the move, the site will be the main site on the new account.
A complication is that when we developed the site originally, we purchased eight relevant domain names. We used one as the main URL of the site and redirected all the other names to the main domain name. When we move it, we want to use one of the other domain names as that of the site and have the previous main domain name be one of those that will redirect to the main name/URL.
We would like to find any tools that will help move this site with the least amount of tweaking. We are staying with the hosting company we currently use because they have been excellent to work with over the years.
Any input welcome as long as it isn't speculation or of the nature of "It should work if ...".
Thanks in advance.
