Wow that's really too bad that the multisite function has been put on the back burner. Really too bad. Because it seems like a high demand item that many ask you for, and not only that but it's also a surefire way you guys could stand out and far above the ever growing crowd of WP clone and backup tools on the market. I'm really sadly surprised to hear that you've decided to just "phase out" the multi site functions ... big thumbs down to that. BOO! :(

Hi Loving Consulting,

Multisite functionality still exists within BackupBuddy but must be manually enabled as it's experimental. There is not currently a time estimate on when it may change status.

Thanks,

When will this function be back up?

Hi Kenny,

BackupBuddy currently has experimental code for doing this. However, it is being phased out for an unknown amount of time. It should not be considered a part of the official product at this time.

Thanks,

Im interested in you your backup buddy for 2 particular task.
1. move single wordpress installs into my new MU site. different domains.
2. move sites from an MU site to a new MU site to be hosted elsewhere. Different domains. Does backupbuddy have this capability.

Im also concerned about the database transferring properly
