Hi Hugh,

I can certainly add this as a feature request.  

In the meantime, one work around is to create a product that is not shown on your store page, you'd just send a link directly to the customer(s).


They can then purchase the product or, if you aren't wanting to charge them for it, you can set the price to zero.

This may be more for a Roadmap addition, but the ability to create orders from the backend would be nice. And not just create an order though, but be able to assign it to a specific user. That way the download links work and they don't get the "You are not allowed to download this file" message if all you do is go into the database and change the "_it_exchange_customer_id" meta_value. :)

Actually, being able to assign/transfer orders to users after the fact would be a nice option as well.
