Hi Julie,

If you go into Appearance > Menus, you'll find an iThemes Exchange section.  Open that and you can select the Exchange pages you'd like added to your menu.

You homepage is created by WordPress and displays your blog posts.  There isn't a page for you to edit when done this way.  You can read more about it in the WordPress codex:  http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

The page title (Shop) size is actually controlled by your theme, not Exchange, and is the same size as the title on every other page.  If you contact your theme developer/support team, they should be able to help you out with that.

Thanks,

Elise

Thanks so much, that's nearly there! But how do I know get that store (that I've renamed from shop) onto the top line navigation along with home, about etc? I am also struggling to find the page that is the homepage when you just type in the domain alone (www.bibi-design.co.uk) as I'd like to put some image on it but can't find the page to edit. Last question, how do I change the font size as SHOP is written so big, I guess it's the h1 but have tried to change in the ccs but don't really know what I am doing.

Many thanks,
Julie

Hi Julie,

By default, the "shop" page in Exchange is called store.  So if you go to bibi-design.co.uk/store/, you'll see all your products there and can view each of them without issue.  If you want that page to be "shop" instead of "store," go into Exchange > Settings, under the Pages tab and change the Page Title and Page Slug to shop.

As for the categories issue, it looks like there is a bug in that.  However, if you uncheck the "Display as dropdown" in the Product Categories widget option, the links it will work.  I'll pass the dropdown menu bug on to the developers.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise

Thanks for your reply Elise, but non of this has worked. Here's the link - of course you need it, don't know what I was thinking!

Hi Julie,

Can you please (always :)) provide us with a url where we can take a look at what's going on?  That's the best way for us to diagnose any issues.

Can you try resetting your permalinks?  You don't need to make any changes, just go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes and that will reset the permalinks.  So try doing that and then check your store/shop page again.

If that doesn't work, try testing for a plugin conflict.  To do that, deactivate all of your plugins except for Exchange and then see if the pages show properly.  If they do, reactivate your other plugins, one at a time, checking Exchange each time, to find which plugin is creating the conflict.  You can also test for a theme conflict by temporarily activating one of the default themes like Twenty Thirteen and then see if your pages show properly.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Elise

I have made a couple of products for my site and 3 categories, however I can't view the products unless I do a preview from the Wordpress editor. When I click on the category I want to see the product I have put in that category I get an error message. I can't get any products to show in the shop or in the categories. Please can anyone help?
