Hi kdaiell83,

That's strange!  You should see it next to the "Pages" widget option, depending on the plugins you have installed.  It's not called Exchange Product Categories or anything and all the widgets should appear in alphabetical order.  

If you still don't see it, you can test to see if there is a plugin conflict that is keeping it from appearing in your widgets.  To do that, you'd deactivate all of your plugins except for Exchange and then see if you can find the Product Categories widget.  If you can, reactivate your other plugins one at a time, checking each time to see which plugin is creating the conflict.  

Give that a try and let me know how it goes.

Thank you, and that offers up a new problem, lol. That option does not show up in my widgets for some reason.

Hi kdaiell83,

Unfortunately, I get a 404 error when clicking the link for your site.  I shouldn't need it, however, to answer your question.

If you're using the regular WordPress search function to search for the category, it won't pull up the Exchange categories.  There is a widget called Product Categories that you'll find in Appearance > Widgets that will list your Exchange Product Categories.  You can place that in any widget area where you'd like these to display.

Hi- I'm new to Exchange and am having an issue with the Categories function. The store page show up just fine but if I search by category I get an error message. Categories are enabled, any advice on how to fix this? The practice/mock-site for practice purposes is www.penndutchgeneralstore.kittenarts.net. Thank you!
