Thanks for the reply.  I really would like to use Exchange over my other options if it has all the functionality I need... I know that it's a fairly new product and there's a lot coming so maybe you can help me if I explain what I'm trying to do.

I run a radio station, and I want to start selling CDs and subscriptions.

I need to be able to sell a CD either as a digital only, or a physical with a digital download included.  Can I combine physical & digital product types this way?

I need membership levels:
1 - access to a high-quality stream (probably just a section on the site)
2 - access + a monthly digital download (can downloads be added to some kind of  member downloads section?)
3 - access + digital + I mail them a physical edition each month.

Finally, I will need to pay commission to the artists for each sale.  I would love to automate this and allow the artists to sign in and/or get emails so they know what they have coming to them.  See https://easydigitaldownloads.com/extensions/commissions/  and http://graphpaperpress.com/?download=commissions

Do you think I'll be able to pull this off with Exchange now or fairly soon?

Thanks!
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

It is possible to create something like this using the Membership, Recurring Payments and Customer Pricing add-ons.  Just keep in mind that they can't change the amount of their fee without actually canceling their subscription and then creating a new one at the new price.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise

Is it possible to set up a membership with recurring billing where the customer sets their own monthly fee (recurring donation)?
