There is no reason Exchange wouldn't work on Genesis, what exactly are you having issues with? Note this post is dated March 2014, and a lot has happened since (such as a Genesis theme for Exchange: https://ithemes.com/2014/06/10/new-pta-focused-genesis-theme-ithemes-exchange-styling/). If you have any specific questions, please open a new topic, add a link to your site, or page where you are having issues, and we will look into it. Exchange is highly configurable, and customizing templates is not that difficult with proper guidance,

Hi Elise.

This is very unfortunate.
If I had know this (and that Exchange was looking so bad on the Genesis Framework) I wouldn't have buy the plugin suite... (I'm not a developer or web designer but I like a lot what they do at Studiopress)

I'll have a look at the link Yann posted... but I believe I need to search for another e-commerce / membership solution....
I'll have a look to your themes as well.. (you never know)..

Oh... btw, as Genesis is a framework (stable), the "connection" should be made only with the framework itself and not with every child theme.

Hi Alex,

We don't have any resources specific to using Exchange with Genesis themes, nor do we have plans of creating a plugin or anything else to address this currently.  While we've worked to make sure Exchange will be compatible with most themes, it just isn't possible to address every aspect of every theme.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi folks,
Is there any resources for using Exchange w/ Genesis. As i see it, there's some stuff I'd have to do every time out, when setting up exchange i.e. removing comments, post info, post meta etc. I don't expect Genesis support here obviously; but I'd like to know what you guys are thinking in this regard. Maybe a plugin to address these items?

Also, as I'm looking into Exchange. It seems to use the page.php template when loading. I tried creating a single-it_exchange_prod.php template file, but that product seemed to ignore that. What can I look at in terms of customizing the product templates?
