Solved. I needed to add "!important"
Add this code to child css to change colour of font or make font visable if set to white (#ffffff)on View Cart and Checkout buttons.

.styles #page a {
color: #000000 !important;
font-family: Verdana, Tahoma, sans-serif;
font-size: 16px;
}

Centre price under image, add to child css -

#it-exchange-store .it-exchange-product-permalink {
float: none;
margin-right: auto;
margin-left: auto;
display: table;
}

Thank you to Elise for guiding me on the right track.

I posted from the top of the page where it says Reply to this topic. If posting at the bottom of the page I can see the More Reply Options which I used but the option to attach images asks for a URL and I haven't one for screenshots?

I am having problems adding screenshots here. I followed instructions-

When adding a post in an existing topic

Adding an image when replying to a post is a little different. Next to the Post button, you'll see a More Reply Options button.

MoreReplyOptions.png

Clicking More Reply Options will take you to a new screen with the same set up for adding an image as when creating a new post.

However, I do no see this function, what i see is Add Reply, Preview Post or Cancel.

Here is what I have been doing to make the font in the buttons visible. I right click on the buttons I can not see (view cart, checkout) and click inspect elements, Firebug opens and shows me the following code for the button:-

.styles #page a {
color: #fff;
font-family: Verdana,Tahoma,sans-serif;
font-size: 16px;

I change the colour by typing into Firebug #000000 black instead of #fff white so it shows up. The change to black then shows on the buttons and I can see the font but Firebug does not allow me to save changes made. I copy and paste the code into my css child theme editor with colour changes made, save it but no changes are visible on the buttons on the site. I cleared the cache everytime I tried. Nothing seems to work.
I am hopeless at explaining things and apologise. iThemes Exchange is perfect for the site if only I could get this sorted.
I would also like to know how I can remove Proudly Sponsered by Wordpress if this is possible.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

can you indicate where exactly what code is not working? Adding a screenshot would be great!

thanks,
Ronald

Thank you very much. The code to change colour of the button does not work for me, I have tried many different colours. I have found some code in Firebug:-

.styles #page a {

color: #fff;
font-family: Verdana,Tahoma,sans-serif;
font-size: 16px;
}
I can change the colour and can now see the font using Firebug but when I paste this into my child theme css, it does not work.
Your other suggestions work, thank you.
Do you have any other idea?

Hello, thank you so much for replying.
After adding the css you gave to change the colour of the font so it can be seen, I changed it to black (#000000) but it is still not visible?
The code for changing the paypal font size does not add a paypal button but it does increase the size which suits me better. Thank you.
I have followed your other instructions re. using custom css etc which I already do but thank you for the important tip. I have also played around with the code given for making the text visible but nothing seems to work.
I have also tried using:-

#it-exchange-store .it-exchange-base-price {

float: left;
font-size: 1em;
}
iIt does work in changing font size and aligning right and left but will not work with center/centre?
Have you any other suggestions please?

Hi Jane,

The writing is there, it just looks like the color is set to beige or something that makes it pretty much invisible.  Try the following code to change the link colors:

a.it-exchange-view-cart.sw-cart-focus-cart, a.it-exchange-checkout-cart.sw-cart-focus-checkout {
color: blue;
}

Obviously, you can change the color to something else, but that should get you started.

You don't want to edit Exchange files directly as they'll be overwritten any time you update Exchange.  Instead, you'll create a file named style.css where you'll add your custom code.  Then you'll create a directory in your child theme named exchange where you'll upload your style.css file.

You can rearrange the order that the different elements appear on the product page, but you will need to work with the template files.  In /lib/templates/, you'll find the content-product.php file.  Make a copy of that file and you'll make your changes in the copy.

In your copy, find the following code:

<div class="it-exchange-column-inner">
<?php it_exchange_get_template_part( 'content-product/loops/product-info' ); ?>
</div>

You'll take that code and you'll move it beneath the following:

<?php it_exchange_get_template_part( 'content-product/loops/product-images' ); ?>
</div>

That will place the image above the price and everything else.  You'll then upload your copy of this file into the exchange directory you created in your child theme.

For the Pay with PayPal font, you can try the following code:

input.it-exchange-paypal-standard-button {
font-size: 2em;
}

Again, you'll want to add this to style.css file you created so that it's not overwritten when you update Exchange.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise

I apologise for such a long title but I have quite a few problems.
Firstly there is no writing  on the checkout button and the button next to it once I have added an item to the cart? How can I get the writing to appear?
I would like to center the price under an image. How do I do this?
The pay with paypal font is too small. How do I enlarge it?
Can I add a paypal logo to the checkout page?
Sorry if this sound a bit complicated. Here is the page if you would like to have a look for yourself:-
