Hi Elise,

It seems to be OK now.  I rolled the Test API keys and it seemed to do the trick!  I had actually done that before, without success...but hey, I'll take it!

Well, you're quite right that there is no Test Mode icon when I try to test...and Stripe had indeed changed itself back to Live.  Even when I changed it BACK to test, it's not working.  I will PM you a login.  Many thanks for sticking with me.

Hi Valerie,

I don't think you do have it in Test Mode.  When I go to your site and start to purchase the product, the Stripe window comes up.  When you have Stripe in Test Mode, a Test Mode icon comes up in the top right corner of your browser window when the Stripe window comes up.

Yours isn't showing that.  If you send me admin credentials for your site, I can take a look at the backend there.  You can PM them to me here on the forum or email them to me at elise@ithemes.com; just be sure to include a link to this thread so I know what the message is in regards to.  

If don't find anything there, it's something in Stripe itself.  For instance, sometimes it seems to change itself back into live mode, so you might go into your Stripe dashboard and double check that it's set to test still.

Yes, test mode is enabled in both the Exchange add-on setting AND at Stripe itself.  I've just double-checked API keys and they're good...but I'm getting the same error.  What next to do?

Hi Valerie,

Do you have test mode enabled?  You can't actually turn that on if you've just gone through the Quick Setup Wizard.  You need to go into Exchange > Add-ons then the settings for Stripe.  The last setting option is "Enable Stripe Test Mode."  Make sure that you've checked that box and that you've entered your test API keys there.  

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

I am trying to test this product: https://letscookathome.co.uk/product/test-system/  

I have the most current version of the Stripe Add-on, have the API keys correctly placed and Test enabled.  When I go to Purchase Now, I get the error on the screenshot attached.  As you can see, I am using one of the test card number given by Stripe for testing.

What am I missing?
