I am trying to add some basic product sales on my site using the latest builder version. i use the covert child theme and hope there is a reasonable solution for proper product/item display etc. to have a nice looking integration without looking cheesy.

thanks for helping a newbie here.

That should also work. But if my memory serves me right, we have to modify templates in WPEC to make it work in Builder.

Shopp will work out of the box (you just have to follow their documentation).

so i go ahead and buy this plugin... but cannot get the activate key to work no matter what i do. i am sure their support will tell me it is my template etc. and it is my problem... any suggestions anyone?

love learning about new issues in WP, still the best option though.

thanks in advance.

Did you try? We have a good relationship with the Shopp developers, and mutually assist each other making our products compatible.

yes i have... its now on 3 days to figure out that they need access to my ftp to change files etc.   This is not quite the just plug in product that moderators here have said.  it is frustrating that it takes so long when i cannot use my store because nobody can see an image of them... even though i can see the thumbnail fine when creating the products.

we will see what really the relationship and support is.

@Tom

I updated our wiki with instructions on how to set up Shopp in Builder.

Check out http://ithemes.com/codex/page/Plugin_related_and_other_generic_customizations_2#How_to_set_up_Shopp_in_iThemes_Builder

Hope this helps.
