Hi All,

I wonder if you can help me here. I purchased builder yesterday and have installed and started to experiment with it. I have been looking on the forums and have seen posts saying that you cannot export sites created with Builder to other installations??? Is this correct? Does this mean that I could never create a site and sell it on?

Is it also possible to use previously purchased itheme themes as the cjild themes for builder e.g just change the style sheet for those themes to fit to builder?

Thanks,

Stallen

Hi, Stallen -
That's correct....for right now. We are planning on having the functionality to import and export layouts soon. You can check out what's on the agenda for Builder here: http://ithemesbuilder.com/roadmap/

For the second question, no. You can't use previous theme's stylesheets on Builder. The child themes for Builder have been specifically coded to work with Builder as the parent theme and Builder's unique layout engine. Other stylesheets haven't.

Hope that answers your questions!

Sarah

@Antonio

Yes, BackupBuddy is the recommended and only tool that can successfully backup and restore Builder sites.
