Hi guys, we are using BackupBuddy happily for a bunch of sites, and backing up to Amazon S3. Recently I've started to become a bit concerned about the security of these files sitting on S3. Is there any way for BackupBuddy to encrypt the backups, or do you guys know any other way that I can secure my BuddyPress backups better on S3?

Hi Computer Courage,
For BackupBuddy questions it is best to post in the BackupBuddy support forum, this forum is more for pre-sales questions. You can access the forum by logging in with your ithemes username and password that you use for managing licenses or to access your ithemes member's page.
BackupBuddy backups are standard zip files. If you are worried about your Amazon S3 account being accessed in ways that you don't like, then look into any extra security settings they may have available to their users.
Thanks,
-Akers

Welcome to the forums. Be sure to post your questions in the correct forum and don't forget about the new and improved search function located in the top right of the forum pages. The gear/wheel symbol next to the search box will give you more options for advanced searching. Thank you and have a nice day.
