I have the Business membership plan for 10 backupbuddy licenses.
I have approx. 4 sites active with a backupbuddy license to make regular backups.
Here my questions:
  • My business plan expires 21 Januari, and i understand i cannot download new versions
of backupbuddy anymore after that date.
  • However can i still use my existing backupbuddy plugins and do their licenses stay active ?
  • Can i still activate 6 extra websites via your site by manually installing backupbuddy on Wordpress and activating the license, or do i need
an active business plan to do so ?
Any more information is welcome

Hi Mi-noah Solutions,

All the BackupBuddy installations will continue to work without an activate license attached to them.

Once the subscription expires the licenses don't stay active unless renewed, but BackupBuddy continues to function as it did before. Since the licenses don't stay active after expiration; then the unused licenses aren't usable. The licenses give continued support and updates to the BackupBuddy version a person has.

Thanks,

OK thanks, almost clear, i only dont get the sentence 'The licenses give continued support and updates to the BackupBuddy version a person has.'
Does this mean that the already installed backupbuddy plugins can also be updated when a new version arrives ?

Something else, i am surprised that i need to login to the support forum to see if i got a response to my topic, i did not get an email from your forum that somebody replied, even while i see the line 'You are following this topic' to the right of my post here...
And in my profile i have my emailadresses entered as well.
I dont have time to watch for replies 24 hrs.

No. As Dustin mentions licences become inactive when the subscription expires - the sentence is just reiterating that it is having an active licence that ensures ongoing support and updates.

Regarding notification of responses - as with most modern forums there are multiple ways in which you can be informed of updates or changes you might be interested in. To set up your preferences for this you can click on the little arrow next to your name at the top of the forum page and select the My Settings option, then the Notification Options tab and their you can select your preferred notification method(s) for a variety of items, thanks.
