Can Backupbuddy Be Use To Merge One Site's Posts/pages/comments With Another?

Hi.

I'm wondering if Backup Buddy would let me do a databse-only backup of posts from one domain and then add them to posts at another domain, so that the second domain would retain its own posts while adding and integrating the new ones. The dates of the incoming posts may overlap some with those in the original.

Is this, or something to the same effect, possible?

Hi Nicole,

BackupBuddy using importbuddy cannot "merge" two sites. It cannot look at the two sites during a migration and see what needs updated while not touching what hasn't been updated since last backup type of stuff.
