I'm developing a Wordpress site for a client using a subdomain on my website and want to migrate it to his existing URL which is hosted by Qwest. His existing site was developed using MS Word and there is no database. Qwest supports MySQL and PHP but I need to know the steps to migrate the development site to his URL. Do I simply put the script in his root directory and then execute the program or what? Do I need to create a new database?

Hi David,

Yes BackupBuddy can migrate in that case. You would need to create a database so it has one to migrate the site you are developing to, and the migration would be a normal migration.

Thanks,
