Please email me at dave@dwb1.com with replay if possible. Thanks, Dave

Your BackUp Buddy expired on April 13, 2012. You can always check your purchases and expiration dates by logging in to your member account, select purchase products and scroll all the way down the page. Prior to expiration of your products you should have received an automatic email with a coupon code for renewal. If you need another please email sales@ithemes.com
Thanks and have a great day.

The license is good only for 1 year from the date of purchase. However, all of the plugins you purchased will work just fine without the license. The license is used purely for updates, support, etc. It does not affect the functionality of your plugins at all.
So your licenses have expired, but you can continue to use your plugins without limits or restrictions.
Hope that clears it up!
Thanks,
Elise

I can't seem to generate new licenses and, per Charleen, I need to renew the subscription.

Char is right. If you want to receive support and updates for your plugins, you'll need to renew. Your licenses have expired, which is why you are receiving that error message and are unable to attach a license.
Your plugins will work without having to have a license attached to the site. You can continue to use your plugins without restriction or limitation. If, however, you'd like to continue to receive support and product updates, you'll need to renew your subscription.
If you'd like to renew your subscription, just contact Char at sales@ithemes.com and she'll get you taken care of!
Thanks,
Elise

This is confusing me. You are saying that unlimited licenses are only good for one year. So I can't add another license unless I buy another year. What has happened to the other licenses?
>>Your plugins will work without having to have a license attached to the site.
Can you explain the purpose of a license then. I don't understand the concept of 'unlimited licenses.' I don't need support or updates, I just want to add another license to a new website, unlimited.
So this is an annual thing of $150/year. This should be stated up front. That your licenses are unlimited but only for one year. After 1 year, you need to renew ALL of the licenses.

I'm sorry you're confused and really am trying to explain this as clearly as possible!
So on the page for the Developer Suite, it says:
The Great Benefits Included:
• Save money – Get all PluginBuddy premium plugins for one price
• One year of support and upgrades
• Developer Plans for all plugins – Get automatic upgrades on unlimited sites
• Any new PluginBuddy plugin released during your membership year
With the Dev Suite, you can add the plugins to unlimited number of sites, not unlimited number of licenses. And you can still use them on any number of sites you'd like. It also does tell you that it is good only for one year.
The purpose of the license is to allow upgrades and access to support. For instance, when your site is licensed and current, you may see an "Automatic Upgrade" link beneath the plugin. That is because your site is licensed and your subscription is current. If you don't have the plugin licensed on that site or if your subscription is expired, you will no longer have that option.
So the fact that you can't license a plugin doesn't mean that you can't use it or install it on a site. If you don't want the support or the upgrades, you don't need to license the plugin. It will work just like any other plugin that you don't license. So, for instance, if you have the All in One SEO Pack plugin - that is a free (and excellent) plugin and you don't have to license it in order for it to work. You can think of your Dev Suite plugins the same way now.
Hope that clears it up!
Thanks,
Elise

I just purchased it and I get the same message - You have already generated all the keys you have available or your licenses have expired. Please obtain additional licenses or unlicense a site. ERROR L14513-JW
Can't seem to work out how to get a key.
Thank you,
Quinn

this is a presales forum, so please post in the Backupbuddy support forum: http://ithemes.com/forum/forum/74-backupbuddy/ or if this is only about licenses and not the functioning of BackupBuddy, post in the Licensing support forum: http://ithemes.com/forum/forum/175-licensing-issues/
thanks!
