How To Get License Key For Free Backup Buddy Plugin

Hi (feel free to move this topic to a different forum if you need to),

I am managing a Wordpress site and last week I installed the FREE Backup Buddy plugin on it.  Now when I log into the admin area of the site, I am getting this message:

License Key is not set yet or invalid. Manage your license for automatic upgrades. There is a new version of this plugin available.

I am trying to get a license key for this plugin so that I will receive automatic updates of the plugin, and even though I am looking all over the ithemes.com and pluginbuddy.com site, I can't figure out how to get this license key.  Can someone PLEASE tell me?  THANKS!

Hi,

there is no FREE BackupBuddy plugin.

You can obtain a license, product updates and support by purchasing a license for BackupBuddy. There is only one place to purchase BackupBuddy, and be eligible for updates and support: http://pluginbuddy.com/purchase/backupbuddy/

PS: I am not sure where you downloaded your FREE BackupBuddy plugin from, but be aware that it may be infected with malware, scumware etc. since that is what we've found to be the case, where our products have been offered through shareware and torrent sites.

Hello
I keep getting this message in Plugin section Manage LicensesLicense Key is not set yet or invalid. Manage your license for automatic upgrades. Plugin up to date.
i don't remember anything about getting a license but i hired someone to work on my wordpress blog and i guess he did the download and activation, i don't have his information and he is not working on my site anymore, how do i get a license key, i am not a member on the ithemes.com site to get a key
can someone help please?

Hi,

you need to contact the person that installed the plugin to maintain his licenses. Alternatively, you can purchase your own license. Licenses are not transferable, you need a valid license to have access to support and product updates.
