Hi Dean,
LoopBuddy and Gravity Forms are two totally different types of plugins.
LoopBuddy allows you to take control of the WordPress loop - so you can edit what information shows on your blog page, on the actual post page, etc. There is a video you can watch for more information on LoopBuddy: http://pluginbuddy.com/purchase/loopbuddy/
Gravity Forms is a plugin that helps you to create custom contact forms. You can check out their site for more information: http://www.gravityforms.com/
