I have just updated wp and bp to the new versions june 2012 and when I now activate ajax edit comments
I works however, when I go to the plugin settings they no longer upate the settings at all.
What can I do, its a fantastic plugin.

Do you mean when you change settings for Ajax Edit Comments in the dashboard, they no longer reflect on the page? If that's what you're saying, I've tested it and I can't get it to replicate (I have the most current version of WP and BackupBuddy). You may test it against your other plugins to see if there is a conflict.
