Attempting to upgrade a plugin results in the following error message:

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists.

Plugin install failed.

The 'easy theme and plugin upgrades' plugin is installed and active.  And I've selected 'yes' to the 'Upgrade existing plugin?' question.

I've tried deactivating the plugin that I'm upgrading before uploading the new version and it still produced the error.

Hi,

can you try uploading the (uzipped) plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder via ftp. Before soing so, remove the existing plugin folder,

Ronald
