Hi all,
We just found that the Backup Buddy plugin was installed on our site without our knowledge. Besides someone hacking into our site and installing this plugin, any thoughts on who might have installed it? Wordpress (it's a wordpres site)? Host Gator? or?
Thanks for your thoughts,
Jonah

Hi Jonah,
BackupBuddy can only be purchased and downloaded through our site, and unless you perhaps had any prior issues for which you requested support from us via this forum, I have no clue. Did you hire an external developer? Could it have been packed with another plugin (which would be without our knowledge and approval), perhaps you can check the file dates via ftp on your server, and that might help determining when the plugin was installed, and that may help narrowing this down too.
