Essence Silver.. Footer With "feature Section 1,2, Last Posts" Un-Editable?

Hello iThemese.

Forgive me but I do not have a paid member usename or PW.
I am editing a Wordpress iTheme "Essence Silver" theme for a friend.
They insist on Essence Silver... they bought it.. I didnt.
I am editing the page and it appears your Essence Silver is flawed.

There appears to be NO WAY to edit the footer with "Featured Section #1", "Featured Section #2" and
"Latest Blog Posts".

How do I REMOVE these terrible sections that will not go away?
Or How to I edit them to have something other than "This area is a featured section on the homepage where you can write about your website. Here you can highlight what's new or other things which are important to your site visitors." on it?

Please help.
I assured my friend that iThemes would not sell defective themes, because that just does not make since that a theme would have no way to edit a footer.

I have looked in Widgets and there is no footer area, no footer widget, nothing regarding footers.

Yet if I remove footer.php the bottom of the page is cut off.

please help

Hi,

Which version of Essence is your friend using? Do you not see any Bottom widgets?

For further support, your friend should sign into the forum using his iThemes username and password and post in the Essence support forum,
