Hello,
I was wondering how to properly customize the Builder Child Theme? I had a person install Builder & the default child theme
on my web space. She has a developer's license. She told me in order to get support, I had to purchase Builder on my own.
That's no problem. I just need guidance on how to select a child theme to work with. I'm not sure if I should stay with the default theme, or if I should change.
My domain is at http://georgenieves.com
I would appreciate whatever help you can provide. Thank you for your time.
George

Hi George,
from the (our) support point of view, it doesn't matter which Builder child theme or themes you purchase. Purchase any Builder child theme and you will have access to the Builder support forum, and related forums (e.g. for Builder Stylemanager, Builder Blocks, and any plugins that come shipped with Builder).
Your site was built on the Default Child theme, but regardless of that, you can have a look at the theme portfolio, and perhaps find a theme that suits you better, or appeals to you better.
does that make sense?
Ronald
(I also notice that you have posted another inquiry on this forum - still in moderation - but I think it's asking the same, so I'll just remove that, ok?)

Which child theme to use?
In general, there are two scenarios.
In general, there are two scenarios.
- The most commonly used approach is to check out all the available Builder child themes and pick one which you like the best and customize it further to your needs, if desired. A list of all child themes is available here and here.
- If you want to re-do a already existing site or design say, in the form of a PSD, then BuilderChild-Default or BuilderChild-Foundation-Blank is recommended. BuilderChild-Default is designed to look just like the parent Builder theme.
