My previous backup plugin is no longer supported so I am looking at Backup Buddy. In the past each site would have it's own account for backups. With your license I'm not quite sure how this works. Would I need to be responsible for all backups for all of my clients? Would sending the backups to assorted email addresses or cloud accounts work?

Also, are all of the license options on an annual basis?

Hi Marsha,

You would not necessarily need to be responsible for the backups of all your clients.  Once it's installed on their site, they can either run manual backups or you can create scheduled backups for them.  On each site, you can create remote destinations to save the backups to including FTP, email, Dropbox and Amazon S3 that would be unique to that site.

The licenses are good for one year with your subscription.  You can continue to use BackupBuddy after the year without renewing your subscription, but you would no longer have access to support or product updates.  You would not be able to generate new license keys after the year.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Elise

Hi there --
I just got a WP theme that I am trying to install - it says to use ImportBuddy. It asks: "Please enter your ImportBuddy password to continue. This was set from the BackupBuddy settings page." Where do I get this?

Hi John,

Can you sign in (should be the same username and password used to access your iThemes member panel) and post your question in the BackupBuddy forum?  They'll be able to help you out there.

Thanks,

Elise
