Hi,

I am still relatively new to iThemes. I have a client I am creating a new site for and she wants to be able to update pages herself once the site is up. She had a blog on wordpress.com and is familar with the dashboard but no technical experience beyond that.

I have not yet used iThemes to create a site for someone else. (I have the Dev Toolkit membership.) What controls and update capability will the client have? given I need to install iThemes on their site to create and customize it for them, I am assuming they will have access to what I have access to. True?

Which may mean I need to setup permissions so she can update pages but not much else? What is the best way to do when using iThemes?

thanks,
Annette

Hello Annette,

Here's some information from the WordPress Codex that may help you.

Ah! It looks like the editor role is what I am looking for. And that the permissions are something I do in wordpress not in ithemes.

thanks!
Annette
