Do Lisa Sabin Wilson's Allure Themes follow the Builder technology (ex. style manager, widget and module control, etc)?

Hi,

Allure themes are NOT Builder child themes. They use their own parent theme, Allure Foundation. Stylemanager, layout editor etc. does  not work non Builder themes.

hope that clarifies,
Ronald

Thanks

So...might it have similar options built in its framework that will allow a total newbie to change background image, widget colors, etc?  Or is it likely that one would really need to know CSS to get it done?

Hi,

there are several settings included in the framework, like the option to choose a background image, logo, favicon, and include several other items, such as social profiles, related posts, author profiles etc. If you want to change colours on elements, it does require modifications to the stylesheet using css. We are here on the forum to help out with minor modifications, or provide pointers to resources to achieve such customisations,
