Hello:
I would like to know if Backup buddy supports the separation of content and view. I would like to develop a website offline and then when I am happy with the view, I would like to push the presentation up to the main server without touching the content. Is this possible?
If it is possible, can this also be used for the Headway theme? I understand that the information Headway needs is mixed in the database with the rest of the content used by Wordpress. So, can I backup and restore just the view of a website without touching the content?
Thanks!
Joseph

Hi Joseph,
With BackupBuddy, you can either create full backups (that would include your WordPress settings, your theme, your databases, everything) or a database only backup. So there isn't really a way to backup just the theme for your site using BackupBuddy.
So, while there are no known conflicts with BackupBuddy and Headway and a number of BackupBuddy customers use it successfully with Headway, I don't think you'd be able to use BackupBuddy the way that you're wanting, if I'm understanding your question correctly.
Thanks,
Elise
