Hi. I'm looking for a plugin that will let me fade between different bits of text, in a slideshow-like fashion.
Just to be clear, I'm not looking set up a slideshow that fades between different graphics. Ideally, I would be able to either enter a number of chunks of text and specify that these should be displayed sequentially, or even better, I'd be able to specify posts or pages and have the content of those displayed.
I've found one plugin that does this, WP fade in text news, at http://www.gopiplus.com/work/2011/04/22/wordpress-plugin-wp-fadein-text-news/#.UHOWlqBKtZm but it's configuration isn't terribly good, and it seemed to cause Firefox to gobble up such huge amounts of memory that it FF becomes unresponsive.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this done?

That looks very nice. Is there a way to style the text to be displayed? I see you can make links, but can other html or inline css be mixed in with the chunk of text?
And can I have more than one on a page?

Yes to both.
HTML in the Rotating Text entries will be parsed.
Multiple Rotating Text entities can be placed on a page.
