I just bought the development pack of Builder including the Child Theme of Acute Red.
I would like to know which Slider solution has been used to display the pics and text together in a slide show on the home page (http://demos.ithemes.com/acute-red/)

Hi stbauer,
They're using DisplayBuddy Slideshow on that demo page. You can create captions when you add the images and those are what's being displayed as text over the images.
