I am looking at both of these ithemes
Looks like Builder is newer and have functions such as Responsive Style.
While Flexx is more for business and has SEO-functions.
Thus some questions I have
1) If the purpose of the blog is for business and focus on getting rank in search engine, would Flexx or Builder be better?
2) Does Builder also have SEO functions like Flexx?
3) Does Flexx provides the ease and flexibility of Builder?
Thanks

- Both Builder and Flexx are built to work well with SEO.
- As stated in the first answer, Builder works well with SEO. With Builder, you get the Builder SEO Plugin (still in Beta) that you can use to help improve SEO. Even using Flexx or Builder, we also highly recommend the All in One SEO plugin which does have a free version.
- Builder is ultimately going to give you more flexibility. Plus, being responsive is a big bonus for Builder. It's something that many people are looking for.
Thanks,
Elise

first of all, you might want to look into this: http://ithemes.com/2010/03/01/flexx-and-builder-differences/
1. using proper keywords, sound SEO techniques will work similar in both themes. Getting rank in search engines is determined by content, quality content. Neither theme will change anything about that. Note that Builder was created based on what we learned from Flexx theme.
2. Builder has an SEO plugin designed specifically for Builder, that can be used as an addon and is available for free as part of your purchase. Since we wanted to keep as much bloat out of Builder as possible, it can be used. Others might prefer another SEO plugin, in which case, there is no duplicate or redundant code. There are specialised SEO experts and plugin developers that focus on just that. We focus on designing and building themes.
3. you can probably see the differences in the videos. Where Flexx offers some options in page layout, the design is "fixed". Builder offers you the ability to design and create any layout you wish. Flexx on one hand might be better suited for someone without any knowledge whatsoever of WordPress, css, etc, as a "click and go/out of the box" solution, whereas Builder is way more versatile, plus there are dozens of different designs to suit your taste,
hope this helps,
Ronald
