The General Server Check says that the deprecated Allow Call Time Pass Referenceshould be OFF.

BackupBuddy test says that it should be ON.

Which is it?

It is generally best to have this set to OFF so that software using this deprecated feature will throw a warning so you know about it. BackupBuddy is currently using a library that uses this reference though so it will warn.

I will update the BackupBuddy test to not warn about this as it is not needed for BackupBuddy to function. Thank you for pointing this discrepency out.

Dustin, can you tell me where to go to change the setting on this? Mine currently says ON, but I have no idea where to turn it OFF.

Hi Cynthia,

It is not going to really affect you if you have it on or not. But you can turn it on or off by way of the php.ini file if you have access to one.

Hey if you haven't looked at the iThemes codex check it out here!
There are some plugin walkthrough videos on our youtube channel check it out!
