Can you please verify my understanding of BackupBuddy is correct:

1. We have an existing WP installation / Databasewhich we want to keep and maintain.

2. Based on this WP installation we want to install kind of a copy but with different them settings and completely different content in a new URL with a new Database

Does Backupbuddy allow me to do this?

Hi Erik,

BackupBuddy creates a exact replica of your existing site.

After the site is restored, you will have to modify the content (if any) to suit your needs.
