Hello all. I have writing in regards to our website. The designer used back up buddy under his own personal account. We would like our own account and remove anything under his own name. My question is that if i remove back up buddy from the site AFTER I email myself a back up will I have any major issues? Also does anyone know the cost?

Hi Lourdes,

Removing BackupBuddy from your site shouldn't cause you any issue.  As a precaution, I'd make to download the importbuddy.php file as well.

You can see the different packages and the pricing for each on the BackupBuddy Sales page.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Elise

Hi Lourdes,

You'd need a copy of importbuddy.php to restore or migrate a site if there were any issues.  If you go into BackupBuddy > Restore/Migrate, you'll see the option there to download the file.

Let me know if I can help with anything else.

Thanks,

Elise
