I tried uploading builder to 2 websites recently and no matter what I do to the style manager the color or background etc won't change.
I was recently finishing up a website from late last years (around the time my subscription ended i think) and I am still able to work on their site with no problems.

Is this a subscription issue, update issue?...

Thanks!

Hi,

Builder will work and continue to work even without a subscription. A subscription allows you to download the latest version of Builder, and gives you access to the members only support forum. There is no code whatsoever in Builder that checks for a subscription, nor will Builder behave differently if you do not have a subscription,

Stylemanager is designed for Builder, and is not Child theme specific. In some cases, it requires adding css code manually to accomplish a change in appearance. We are here on the Builder support forum to assist with such code.

hope that clarifies,
Ronald

It's just not working for me anymore even with manual coding. What subscription do I need to get in order to get support?

Hi,

you can purchase a single child theme (http://ithemes.com/find/builder/), in case you want to be able to download an updated version of the child theme, or you can purchase any of the three offerings on this page: http://ithemes.com/purchase/builder-theme/#theme-pricing

Note that we currently have a 32% discount coupon, more info here: http://ithemes.com/2013/05/01/wordpress-is-10-lets-party/

Thanks!

And either one of those options will give me builder support and style manager support as well?

And is there anything cheaper that I can purchase to get support?

I'm in the process of creating my first ecommerce website for a client
I want to style it according to exactly what she wants so a theme is something I really don't need I don't think.
But if it's my only option...

Hi,

yes, you will get 1 year of updates and support. Your cheapest option is to either purchase a single theme or the Foundation pack (but that may not include your current theme) and use the 32% discount coupon,
