For Backup buddy, if I have the plugin set on X number of client websites to backup to my own dropbox account -- is there any possibility for clients being able to access my dropbox account? I of course would not want this.

Hi RJ,
They would. When you have a remote destination, such as Dropbox, set up you can go to BackupBuddy's Remote Destination page -> click on an existing remote destination and it will take you to a page showing files at that remote destination. Mainly for being able to delete or download backups at that remote destination through BackupBuddy. But would be able to see other files there as well so essentially is access.
Thanks,
