I am about to purchase the Granite theme. But wanted to ask whether the sidebar is widget ready?

Hi Abhi,
yes, Granite is (like all our themes) widget ready, in fact it also uses widgets for various content sections, like the ones on the home page (content and bottom sections) to allow the user to easily add their content.
