A client of mine is currently using Flexx 2.7.7.  I understand the latest version of Flexx is 4.0.53.  Can someone give me a rundown of what changes/improvements have been made to Flexx since v2.7.7?  We are in the process of deciding whether she should stay with Flexx or move to something else with more modern features.

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

one of the major changes in Flexx is that it facilitates the use of child themes, so that any customisations will be preserved when updating Flexx core. Other than that, Flexx has seen maintenance updates, and WordPress related updates (WordPress custom menus are now enabled), easier integration with Shopp e-commerce but it has essentially the same functionality that you see in your version.

More news on Flexx in recent years: http://ithemes.com/?s=flexx

hope that helps,
Ronald

I forgot to mention,

Builder, our flagship theme is the successor of Flexx, and offers you almost endless layout possibilities. It is also in active development, last year we added responsive capabilities to Builder,
