Hello, I have a site that is only blog posts with podpress podcasts in each one.  I am moving to a new host (same domain name) and wish to install Wordpress there and have all the plugins and settings move along.

I read the docs but I want to make sure all of this will go across without me having to re key every episode and setting in podpress.

is this a question regarding BackupBuddy, and its capabilities?

Yes thanks, can it back up the configuration of plugins (such as podress) and be able to restore them onto the new server without having to reconfigure the plugin?

Hi Chris,

Yes that should be the case. It is possible for 3rd party plugins to do things wrong that may require editing after a migration BUT BackupBuddy tries to even detect these and updates paths, urls, etc. Also BackupBuddy can backup non-WordPress database tables if it makes its own tables too.
