Hi! Thanks for the forum.

One issue I've run into the past is when a company has a modified cPanel there are issues moving the email should the client want to switch hosting providers for whatever reason. For example, it is nearly impossible to move your email from GoDaddy- I don't even know if that's cPanel in origin.

Is Site5's custom cPanel built on the original cPanel? If a client wants to move hosting providers in the future will Site5 assist in exporting the email to transfer or do they have a Wiki which includes that information?

Thank you!

Yep email is messy to move going from a non-cpanel host to a cpanel.

There are some tools to do it but they are not perfect and we don't port over mail during a non-cpanel migration, we only move databases and web files. We do have a tutorial on how to move over your mail too which works but isn't perfect :):

Yep SiteAdmin is what we call our cPanel theme, it has integrated support and the goal is to make the UI easier to use. But all the same features are there (plus a few extra), demo:

Great, thanks!

If the hosting account I am moving from (to Site5) is cPanel do you include that in the migration or have a similar 'how-to' link/wiki?

Yep we take care of that entirely, cpanel to cpanel is easy and moves everything.

This is how you submit a request once you have an account too:

Thanks, Ben
